Previously, he served as the Minister of State for Ministry of Food Processing Industries from 2019 to 2020 and a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly from Duliajan from 2001 to 2011.

He was born on 14 August 1970 in Duliajan in Assam. His father name is Budhu Teli and Mother Dulka Teli. Career
