Architecture and design

The building was designed by David Childs, of the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Originally featured as a {{convert|900|ft|m|adj=on}} tower with setbacks at various intervals, a redesign was revealed in early December 2013 to feature a cylindrical "tube." The redesign increased the height of the tower to {{convert|1,009|ft|m}}.
